My Favorite YA Fantasy Series

I'm reading a ton of these lately. I'm sure I'll add to this. Average ratings are out of five.
  1. Reckoners by Brandon Sanderson
As if Brandon Sanderson could do any wrong. You can argue this is sci-fi and doesn't belong on this list but whatever! Avg. rating: 5
  2. Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness
This series is A++++. Totally worth your time. Avg rating: 4.3
  3. His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman
    Avg rating: 4.3
  4. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Shockingly good! Holds up all the way through. Avg rating: 4
  5. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
    Classic. Avg rating: 4
  6. Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
The second one was a disappointing follow-up and yet I'm listing this anyway because Seraphina is one of my all-time fav books. Avg rating: 4
  7. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
A dystopian future where love is forbidden. Yes! Avg rating: 4
  8. The Diviners by Libba Bray
Not yet finished. Already excellent. Avg rating: 4
  9. Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
An angel romance series. Really dug it. Avg rating: 4
  10. The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi
Romantic tales set in Indian mythology. There are two interconnected books (not direct continuation of the same story) and I'm not sure if there will be more. Kind of magical! Avg rating: 4
  11. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
Not yet finished. But so, so good! Avg rating: 4
  12. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
    👍🏻 Avg rating: 4
  13. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
I know what you're thinking, but plz allow me to live. Avg rating: 4
  14. Seven Kingdoms Trilogy by Kristin Cashore
I haven't read the third yet. Graceling is so good though. Avg rating: 3.5
  15. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass
Sort of awesome for a fantasy bachelor/bachelorette thing. Avg rating: 3.4
  16. The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo
Finished this now. Decent but I felt it had more potential than what it ended up being. Why was she so weak if she was one of the strongest magicians alive allegedly? Avg rating: 3.3.
  17. Fallen by Lauren Kate
Gets less good as it goes on. Still up there. Avg rating: 3.2
  18. The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater
I only gave these three stars each on Goodreads and yet I think of them fondly for whatever reason. Avg rating: 3
