States That Have "Banned" Syrian Refugees and Need to Be Called Out

These governors are blowing smoke for political points to prove their conservatism in homeland security. States cannot "ban" refugees, because the process takes 12-24 months and doesn't exist within just one state. But this racist gesture shows a lack of compassion for ISIS' truest target and fleeing innocent, those who need our help the most.

Important positive note: POTUS has explicitly agreed to accept refugees. The rest is political posturing.
States do not get to overrule the federal government on immigration policy (especially refugee policy, under the Refugee Act of 1980). http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2015/11/16/3722628/no-state-governors-cant-refuse-to-accept-syrian-refugees/
