1. Humility
    Take pride in what you have done, but use it as a platform to bring people together to do greater things. Use your leadership for something other than self-aggrandizement.
  2. Generosity
    While this could include a monetary aspect, that's not its primary. People want leaders to be generous with knowledge, time, credit, power, information, and faith; it’s really hard to trust and fully support a leader who’s stingy, who seems to be in competition with you, or who doesn’t believe in your potential
  3. Curiosity
    Continually examine and re-examine your own assumptions and practices. Ask “Why” questions, as well as speculative “What if” and “How” questions. Be aware of the people around you. Ask "Who" they are, and what makes them tick.
