HOW I CAN CONFIDENTLY SAY: I'M A WRITER

  1. First, I don't say that I'm an author. You might think that author and writer are the same thing, but they're not. Not to me.
  2. An author has a book published. Or something similar. He makes money with writing.
  3. Probably all authors are writers but not all writers are authors (yet).
  4. I do not make any money out of writing and I definetely don't identify with the word author yet.
  5. But writing is a part of who I am and I'm pretty sure that I couldn't live without it.
  6. I publish some of the things I wrote on the internet but there are not many people who see and read them. And that's totally okay.
  7. If there's only one person in the world who enjoys reading my stories, then that's more than I could ask for. And if noone reads my stories, I'm okay with that too.
  8. Of course it makes me happy when someone tells me that he likes my story, but writing itself makes me happy as well.
  9. That's why I'll never stop.
  10. I might never make a living out of writing, might even never call myself an author.
  11. But I love writing and I give all my heart to every story and every line I write. It's just a part of who I am.
  12. And that's why I call myself a writer.
