The definitive list of chicago restaurants as told by someone who lives in the suburbs. (but, really, they're good)
  1. Maude's
Atmosphere, food, value. Not much more to say.
  2. Spacca Napoli
Hands down the best pizza in the city, though any fan of "chicago pizza" would say this is blasphemy. Neapolitan style deliciousness.
  3. Juno
  4. Everest
Sure it has mirrored walls, and yes, the monogrammed carpet from 1986 seems a bit outdated, but it's truly a magical place. The food is SO good, and they make you feel like a million bucks (and also like you're on the set of Wall Street, the original)
  5. Purple pig
  6. Girl and goat
  7. A tavola
    Quiet, unassuming. Knock out gnocchi.
  8. Small bar
  9. Coast
