I'm deep into a project and could use more music options. These two are my favourites at the moment...
  1. Dawn of Midi's Dysnomia
  2. Spotify UK's Music for Concentration playlist
  3. Stephen Thompson from NPR Music has a Spotify playlist called "Songs for Editing" 💯

  4. Anything by Ratatat. Energetic, complex but repetitive, no lyrics to mess up your thoughts.

  5. Spotify's ESM Electric Study Music Playlist
My go-to playlist when I need to get anything done. Perfect balance of focus-inducing and upbeat!

  6. Lost in the Woods and Library Sounds
    Both playlists by Spotify UK

  7. alt-J Radio
This has been my writing jam lately. It's pretty easy listening but without being boring.

  8. French Music
If lyrics distract you when you write, I find it helps when you can't understand what they're saying. I like Caracol and Brigitte.

  9. Hip Hop Instrumentals
Gives me something to listen to but I don't get hung up saying the words along to the song, instead it leaves room to create my own (read: freestyle). That sparks my creativity, then I write.
