A call for fun recovery suggestions:
  1. A week from Monday I'm losing my tonsils. We've been through a lot but it's time to cut that chord.
  2. I can't go to work for 2 whole weeks.
  3. But the pain will be relentless and unbearable with or without pain meds for 10 full days.
  4. I'm nervous.
  5. But excited to be done getting sick so often.
  6. I'll probably not be bored, but I'll definitely be stir crazy and need distractions.
  7. So here's A List of Things I Kinda Plan to do During My Recovery:
  8. 1) READ
I'm already into The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling, One More Thing by BJ Novak, The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, and Paper Towns by John Green. But I think I'll use this as an excuse to buy more books! I want your suggestions! I'm already thinking of getting The Circle by Dave Eggers, Will Grayson Will Grayson by David Levithan and John Green, and This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Trooper.
  9. 2) WATCH
Gonna use my free trial of Netflix and binge 30 Rock, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, House Of Cards, Parks & Recreation, and a ton of movies and other shows I've always needed to watch. Again, I WANT YOUR SUGGESTIONS (commands re: @joemurphy)
  10. 3) LISTEN
Gotta get caught up again on all the new music that's come out this year already and look into what is up-and-coming! SUGGESTIONS?! What should I check out or listen to?! I will listen to oldies too! I need to educate myself on them too!
  11. 4) BLOG
  12. 5) NETWORK
Let's find Michael a job! RECOMMENDATIONS?! IDEAS?! I may be doped up on codeine but idk it's time.
  13. 6) LIST
I've got TONS of drafts and recommendations already that I just haven't had time for! I want to get a lot done! Give me more Recommendations and I'll work on them!
  14. 7) SLEEP
    I mean...
  15. 8) DRINK WATER
  16. 9) COLOR/DRAW
I've got two Harry Potter coloring books and also a creative artistic itch that needs scratching.
  17. 10) MIX CDS AND PLAYLISTS
I'm making a mix CD for a coworker to play in the car when she takes her daughter to school to help her go to school in a more calm, focused, and relaxed state. I've also planned to make mix CDs for my other coworkers for literally more than a year and haven't had time. Now I will! I LOVE making playlists and wanna make one for you if you're interested! Let me know!!
  18. RECOMMEND ME MORE ACTIVITIES! MORE MUSIC AND BOOKS AND TV SHOWS AND MOVIES AND LIST IDEAS AND JOB IDEAS AND MOTIVATORS AND FUN! ➕
