1. Yes Please by Amy Pohler
I listened to the audio book which is also read by Amy Pohler. It's funny and endearing in parts but there's nothing extraordinary about it. The writing is safe and she mentions more times than she should how hard it is to write a book.
  2. Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay
Just now getting to this after walking in on a reading she was doing at the Last Bookstore about 6 mos ago. Great essays on gender, race, privilege, and feminism. Her titular essay is on point.
  3. A Visit From the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan
I'm a chapter in to it and not so into it. I'll read 1 more before I decide to give up/keep going.
