Because life is short and my brain cells are finite. And I'm old and into non fiction now.
  1. Lord Of The Rings trilogy. JRR Tolkien
Technically cheating as this is 3 books. Read it at least twice. Would rather re-watch the movie and fast forward to favorite scenes.
  2. The Remains of The Day. Kazuo Ishiguro
Read it at least twice. I don't think I need the emotional baggage.
  3. The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. Michael Chabon
Read it at least twice. I'm good.
  4. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. Susanna Clarke
Been through it at least twice. I think I'm done with Victorian magic. Until a new novel comes along.
  5. The Chronicles of Narnia. CS Lewis
Read through this a bunch of times. Ruined by the film adaptations and Lev Grossman's The Magicians.
