🎡 CONCERTS I'VE BEEN TO πŸ’ƒπŸΎ

Inspired by @ijeoma // I've been fortunate to have been to so many shows, this just might be a little of honorable mentions!
  1. β€’
    The Avett Brothers
I've seen them 30+ times. I even took a solo mission to see them at Red Rocks in 2011. Ive made so many friends through their music. Love them to the moon and back.
  2. β€’
Jessica Lea Mayfield & Seth Avett Sing Elliott Smith
They put out an album of Elliott Smith covers earlier this year. And it's magic. I saw their opening show in Charlotte. I never listened to Elliott. I didn't know any of the songs. You could hear a pin drop and they sounded so good together. My favorite show of 2015.
  3. β€’
    Langhorne Slim
My current favorite. His latest album is amazing - give it a spin. I actually love ALL of his albums. This man is still playing small clubs. Go see him now while you can!
  4. β€’
    Joe Pug
I'm seeing him in Chicago this weekend and I CANNOT WAIT. He's still playing small clubs too. Go, see, listen, cry.
  5. β€’
    Dave Matthews Band
I've seen them 30+ times. I was dating my high school sweetheart & he played DMB nonstop. At first I thought it was garbage then one day, it all just changed. We bought tix to Night 1 of Deer Creek & liked it so much, we scalped tix for Night 2 almost immediately in 2002.
  6. β€’
    Foo Fighters
I saw them for the first time in 2008. It was a rough year for me & Dave Grohl snapped me right out of it. I've seen them 4 times since. Most notably, their sold out performance at the historic Ryman on Halloween 2014.
  7. β€’
    Incubus
Incubus will always remind me of the summer going into my senior year of high school. I always see them when they're close. I've even donated money to their charity so I could meet them.
  8. β€’
    JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD
The best rock show I've seen outside of the Foo Fighters
  9. β€’
    Dr. Dog
One of my favorite bands to see live. They're so fun. If you like to OHH and AHH while singing, go see them.
  10. β€’
    Justin Timberlake
Hands down the best concert I've ever been to. Didn't realize that I essentially "grew up" with JT. His music spans my middle school days and on from there. I had a great seat and it was magic.
  11. β€’
    Bruno Mars
Bruno got hosed because I saw JT maybe 3 weeks after I saw Bruno. I went with one of my best friends and we had a blast. Thanks for the tix, seester!
  12. β€’
    Michael BublΓ©
I've gone twice with my mother. She loves him and now I love him. Can't beat a man with a smooth voice and a sense of humor!
  13. β€’
    Rob Zombie
I had an ex that got me into White Zombie so when I had the chance to see Rob I had to go. I was 10th row & he fired his tour manager in the first 5 minutes of the show. He's what I call scary sexy & I love him.
  14. β€’
    John Fogerty
I scored a free ticket and sang along to all of the CCR songs I grew up listening to with my mama. He's still got it.
  15. β€’
    Tim McGraw
I used to love late 90s country. I went with my first boyfriend.
  16. β€’
    Kenny Chesney
I also saw Kenny with my first boyfriend in a tiny ass theatre and met him before the show. I was a head taller than him and could not speak.
  17. β€’
    George Strait
I've seen George twice and the 2nd time, TSwift opened. She was unknown and so cute!
  18. β€’
    Snoop Dogg + Busta Rhymes
50 Cent was also on this bill but I think the purple haze wafting through the crowd got to me because I got light headed, had to sit down, and my boyfriend at the time freaked out and made me leave. This is the night Busta made fun of a handicapped person not knowing they were handicapped.
  19. β€’
    Built to Spill
UGH they are so good. I've seen them maybe 5 or 6 times and I will never tire. I will see them for as long as they're touring.
  20. β€’
    Clutch
Real heavy and real bad ass. I have to stand far away so I don't die in a mosh pit. Ironically, saw them at Bonnaroo and it was the calmest crowd ever. I was up front that day.
  21. β€’
    Ted Leo & the Pharmacists
I saw Ted Leo in a super hot former church turned into a coffee shop and music venue. No AC what so ever. I also saw Ted with Aimee Mann this past summer at Shaky Knees.
  22. β€’
    Drive-By Truckers
I love southern rock. I was so excited to see them live until I realized all my favorite songs were Isbell songs & they had just kicked him out of the band. Still a solid time though. I've seen them a couple of times since.
  23. β€’
    Jason Isbell
So much talent. Such a great human. Go see him.
  24. β€’
    Sturgill Simpson
What today's country SHOULD BE. Nothing bro about Sturg. Check him out on Joe Rogan's podcast.
  25. β€’
    Radiohead
One of the calmest, chillest experiences I've ever witnessed. Their HD screens were insane.
  26. β€’
    Tom Petty
One of the best shows ever. I've seen him twice. Would love to see him again!
  27. β€’
    The Flaming Lips
I've seen them three times and nothing was as magical as the first. I'm over it.
  28. β€’
    The Black Keys
I fell in love with them just as they were blowing up. Love all their albums, even like Dan's solo stuff. My ex would blast them all the time. Happy memories of a shitty time in my life.
  29. β€’
    The Wallflowers
My first concert. My mom drove my sister, my best friend, and me. My sister was our chaperone. Jakob Dylan was so dreamy and sweet and funny and I was forever changed from that moment on.
  30. β€’
    The Backstreet Boys
If my memory serves me right, Tatiana Ali opened. I also saw N'SYNC around the same time so maybe she opened up for them. My dad drove me and a couple friends in the snow to Indianapolis. He was the original "Dads of One Direction" dude.
  31. β€’
    Stone Temple Pilots
2001. Scott danced around naked with a sock on his penis after he threw off the American flag he was wearing. I ended up meeting my now best dude friend at this show.
  32. β€’
    Staind
I was an angsty teenager who loved Staind!! Aaron Lewis 4 lyfe.
  33. β€’
Rev. Peyton & His Big Damn Band
They're local but tour all over and they're awesome. His wife is Breezy and she plays the washboard.
  34. β€’
    Primus + Les Claypool solo
"PRIMUS SUCKS" and I would pay to see them often. I've seen Les solo a couple of times. He also introduced me to Portugal the Man.
  35. β€’
    Jim Avett
The patriarch of my favorite brotherly band. He's witty and wise and I had the pleasure of attending an intimate house show where he was the special guest.
  36. β€’
    No Doubt
Gwen Stefani πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ I paid $10 for my ticket and I would pay so much more to see them again.
  37. β€’
    The Killers
I took my BFF and we had front row balcony in a beautiful theater. I wanna do it all over again. Their set included Palm trees. I cried during When You Were Young.
  38. β€’
    Music festivals I've gone to:
Lollapalooza (don't remember the year), Bonnaroo 2010, Hangout Fest 2011, Forecastle 2013, Shaky Knees 2015
  39. β€’
My mind can't think of any more but there's lots more, trust me. Concerts are my favorite thing to do and I don't judge a band until I see them live. If I can think back long enough I could fill in all 99 line items.
