I didn't realize at the beginning of the year that I would see so many musicals - a result of ending a subscription in Sac, staring a subscription in SF, and an extended NYC weekend trip. I hope 2017 offers as many great shows.
  1. The Little Mermaid
Part of my Sacramento Broadway series subscription. One of my fave Disney Musicals. Also before I started my playbill photo project.
  2. The Book of Mormon
Sac broadway series first time in the sac are and so was very popular.
  3. An American in Paris
First of three shows I saw on broadway when I visited NYC
  4. Something Rotten
Best seats I've had for a musical. Plus Brian James Darcy and Christian Borle
  5. Hamilton
My reason for going to NYC
  6. Wicked
    San Francisco production
  7. Newsies
    Sigh - don't know why I didn't take a playbill shot!
  8. Motown: The Musical
The audience members they brought up to sing were 🔥
  9. Hedwig and the Angry Inch
With Darren Criss and Lena Hall
  10. The Lion King
First time I had seen it. And I get the hype these 20 years later
  11. The King and I
    Final one of the year.
