Guns N Roses Albums, Ranked

In honor of GNR's reunion...
  1. 1.
    Appetite for Destruction
1989 - A game changer in rock. Every track is great and the album still holds up 30 years later. GNR almost had to put out a huge double album to match this debut.
  2. 2.
    Use Your Illusion II
1991 - One of my favorite album 2nd halves of all time, tracks 7 through 13 are masterpieces. However the closing song, My World, it so bad it's hard to listen to.
  3. 3.
    Use Your Illusion I
1991 - Another album with a superior 2nd half. The Garden is one of my favorites, and closing out with Dead Horse/Coma is epic.
  4. 4.
    GN'R Lies
1989 - A solid follow up to the debut album, satisfying the need more more GNR without actually putting out a full album. A rock solid live EP plus a great acoustic EP, all great tracks.
  5. 5.
    "The Spaghetti Incident?"
1993 - A silly title and silly artwork, this album I've covers is decent enough. Eclectic, not necessarily the best selections. For being punk covers, the album isn't very punk.
  6. 6.
    Chinese Democracy
2008 - All those years of waiting and for what... An overblown album I can still barely listen to and a band I don't recognize. Axl sounds bad and the only song I like, "Better", doesn't even sound like a GNR song.
