High Protein Foods for Vegetarians 🌽🍅🍓

Recommended daily protein = about 50g for women and 65g for men (size & activity level factor in). Here are some ways to get there meatlessly. Thanks to @kelly for suggesting.
  1. 1 cup oatmeal = 6g
  2. 1 cup soy milk = 7g
    Only slightly less than 1 cup cow's milk, which has 8g.
  3. 1/2 cup firm tofu = 12g
  4. 1/2 cup silken or soft tofu = 5-6g
  5. 1/3 cup seitan (wheat gluten) = 25g
  6. 1/2 cup edamame = 11g
  7. 1/2 cup cooked soybeans = 15g
  8. 1/2 cup cooked lentils = 9g
  9. 1/2 cup cooked beans (most kinds)= 7.5g
  10. 1/3 cup cooked split peas = 8g
  11. 1/4 cup peanuts = 7.5g
  12. 2 Tbs peanut butter = 8g
  13. 1/4 cup almonds = 6g
  14. 1/4 cup walnuts or cashews = 5g
  15. 1/2 cup cooked quinoa = 4g
  16. 1/2 cup cooked brown rice or bulgur = 3-4g
  17. 1 cup cooked pasta = 7.5g
  18. 1/4 cup sunflower seeds = 6g
  19. 1 cup cooked peas = 8g
  20. 1 cup cooked spinach or broccoli = 4-5g
  21. 1 egg = 6g
  22. 1 cup whole milk yogurt = 12g
