WHAT I ATE TODAY
Today I flew from Los Angeles to Minneapolis to Fargo, and then drove home to Grand Forks. Here is what I ate:
- •1-2 bites of just about every breakfast item at SqirlI woke up early to tag along with my friend for her break-the-diet meal. She just finished up a few months of performing the role of a starving 13-year-old girl in the opera that I was playing, so this morning she ordered one of everything at Sqirl and it was 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯.
- •4 portions from Lemonade: avocado and tomato salad, broccoli with ricotta, fattoush, pineapple chicken with green beansIf I lived near a Lemonade I would probably eat there every day.
- •A Greek salad from the Minneapolis airportWhenever I fly I feel bad eating things other than salads because of how much time I spend sitting. It was an ok salad. It came with pita so I ripped it up to make a fattoush-like situation. Also, I avoided the olives.
- •A turkey flatbread from Subway, with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, salt, pepper, and honey mustardI was famished when I got home! And Subway was the only place open in Grand Forks. Usually I like mayo but today I felt like honey mustard... I think I thought it would be healthier, but I don't know if it actually is.
