STUFF I ACTUALLY LEARNED IN HIGH SCHOOL

  1. Papers really can be written the night before.
  2. Every time you get close to another person in any type of relationship, you leave yourself vulnerable.
  3. Being vulnerable isn't necessarily a bad thing.
  4. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
  5. Sleep is not overrated.
  6. The footnotes at the bottom of Wikipedia articles are a gold mine for research papers.
  7. It's cool to care about your education.
  8. Your parents' rules aren't there to ruin your life.
  9. Don't pretend to hate music/books/movies that you actually like in order to fit in.
  10. Even though it isn't their natural inclination, introverts need some kind of a social life and extroverts need to have down time.
