Favorite Movie For Every Year That I've Been Alive

22 years is a nanosecond, but it took me forever to craft this li.st
  1. 1994: The Lion King
    Sobbing brb.
  2. 1995: Pocahontas
Hands down my favorite Disney princess and I watch this every time I'm sick. Pissed that Netflix took it away. I actually cried.
  3. 1996: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
This is going to be a lot of Disney, but god bless Esmeralda.
  4. 1997: TIE between Anastasia and Air Force One
There's no correlation, I just can't pick. Journey to the freakin' past, man.
  5. 1998: You've Got Mail
"Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but valuable. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void."
  6. 1999: 10 Things I Hate About You
God, just look at him. Even as he stabs that fish he's attractive.
  7. 2000: Almost Famous
"So Russell, what do you love about music?" "To begin with...everything."
  8. 2001: Moulin Rouge
(Sorcerer's Stone also released but Harry Potter wins everything, so I'm leaving them all out. Otherwise eight of these slots would be taken.)
  9. 2002: Panic Room
Baby Kristen Stewart and Jodi Foster did work in this film.
  10. 2003: How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days
Ok, this movie is my kryptonite. I can quote it from beginning to end.
  11. 2004: Phantom of the Opera
The cinematography in this movie was trash, but I love this musical.
  12. 2005: Mr. & Mrs. Smith
    Just Angelina kicking Brad's ass.
  13. 2006: The Departed
  14. 2007: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
  15. 2008: Definitely, Maybe
    I am her passive aggressiveness.
  16. 2009: Nine
    I just really love musicals.
  17. 2010: Inception
  18. 2011: Water For Elephants
  19. 2012: The Perks of Being a Wallflower
  20. 2013: Now You See Me
  21. 2014: Edge of Tomorrow // Wild
Emily Blunt overshadows the fact that it's Tom Cruise. I relate to Wild on such a valid emotional level. Aka what am I doing with my life?
  22. 2015: Colonia
If you haven't seen this, I 10/10 recommend. Based on a true story and it's Emma Watson so that's really why.
  23. 2016: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
As you can see, I appreciate a well-written heroine.
