Songs we've heard, but never knew the name of

An inspiration of @bjnovak summer song list, here are the songs that caught us by their melody, stuck to our mind like glue, but we never knew the name of... This lists consist of several genres, beginning with...
  1. The Look - Metronome
I cannot recall where I first heard this song, but no matter, once I found the name, it was on replay for a week forward, at least.
  2. Green onions - Booker T. & the M.G.'s
Song worthy of classics. This one I listen to now and then, because it's become a part of me, ever since I didn't know the name...
  3. No One Knows - Queens of the Stone Age
This song brought me into the world of rock. And that's all I have to say about this song.
  4. Cut to black - Lemaitre
This song was really good, until it got bombarded in the radio (at least in Norway 😜). I really liked this song, but I never let the opportunity to search it up hit me.
  5. Nothing It Can - Helios
I must admit, there are many songs with this melody, or so I feel, but this one was my find, and itll stay so 😊
  6. Everything - City of the Sun
This is also another radio song. I first found out about the band, when I saw them performing at TEDxTalk in 2013. Phenomenal band!
  7. Home - Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros
This one I admit is a little embarrassing that I did not know... I was never fast enough to shazam it, even though I could just lookup the lyrics... (couldn't change the cover, bug?)
  8. Prelude For Time Feelers - Eluvium
This beautiful song, and the sad story of how I never knew the name. This one I hope I'm not the only one to have heard and not known the name.
  9. Elevator Song - Keaton Henson
Now now, I know this list is becoming somewhat a list consisting of sad songs, but this one I couldn't let out, because I just today found out the name 😜
  10. Runaround Sue - Dion
Back with another of the classics! I remember, the first time I heard this, I danced, and ever since, I dance everytime I hear, no matter the situation (True! Wanna test me? 😆) Add The Wanderer, just because we love Dion!
  11. Little Bitty Pretty One - Bobby Day
And not but lastly... The melody... We all know it... It has been cast over many different movies, in which I recall first, Matilda. This song is the very definition of
  12. I got more songs in my pocket, tell me if you want me to make another list! 😃😃
