    Living in that shadow would be its own kind of Dark Side, am I right? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ (Also I feel like this could still make sense after TFA? With a little tweaking and handwaving, but the scene between Poe & Ren has some pretty crazy tension for people who have ostensibly never met before.)

    He was totally great and fine and happy & then was just the WORST one in his class when he got to Luke's Center for Force-Sensitive Kids Who Can't Jedi Good & Want to Learn to do Other Stuff Good Too.
