Each of us averages between 6 and 8 bathroom visits per day. Despite that, bathroom scenes in TV-sitcom history were once a bit of taboo. Here are 5 of our favorite bathrooms in TV history. Which would you add? (Inspired by a request from @TVAddict)
  1. The Brady Bunch

What was unique about the Jack-and-Jill bathroom from this '70s sitcom is that it was supposedly used by all 6 kids but it had no toilet. At least, the toilet was never shown on camera.
  2. Leave It To Beaver

Before the Bradys' bathroom, it was rare to show any scenes in a bathroom at all. That's what made a 1957 episode of Leave It To Beaver unique when it showed (at least the tank of) a toilet. http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/firsttoilet.asp
  3. Roseanne

Love the Connors, right? Roseanne, Dan, Jackie and the kids had many memorable dialogue (and other experiences) in the family commode.
  4. The Cosby Show

In the show's first season, the family gathers in front of the toilet bowl in a makeshift memorial to Rudy's deceased goldfish.
  5. The Simpsons

Just scrolling Google images' screenshots of The Simpsons bathroom references is a morning of fun.
  6. Full House
Many homeowners convert bathrooms into bedrooms. Kudos to Stephanie for not converting, and simply choosing to move in as-is.
