Albums that changed my life

  1. 1.
    Sia / This Is Acting
This album is a soul encourager. It's rich and deep and is perfect drive or workout music. I love her.
  2. 2.
    Jewel / Pieces of You
Jewel's debut album was released in 93 I believe. I didn't own it until 98 when I was a senior in high school and got my first CD player... I was a late bloomer on the tech savvy end at the time. It was the most important music I had ever heard. Jewel was a poet and had overcome homelessness and loss and she sang from a place of Truth and vulnerability that I had not encountered up till then. Her first album is still my favorite.
  3. 3.
    Jars of Clay
I saw them and actually met them in the summer of '96 when they were just coming up. I wore this cassette out. Every song resonated with me and this first album broke the mold of "Christian" music at the time, transcending genres and climbing charts with a fresh take on alternative music. 20 something years later, it's still unique.
