1. M&Ms Meet Santa Claus
The M&M characters have become almost as iconic as the actual candy. Starting in the mid-90s, these “spokescandies” became the theme of the M&M advertising campaign. This holiday commercial is one of our favorites, featuring the meeting of two “mythical” creatures.
  2. Coca-Cola Polar Bears
Coca-Cola has actually used polar bears in its advertisements since the 1920s, according to Coca-Cola. But the company began making them a centerpiece of their advertising in 1993. Since then, the appearance of the computer-animated bears has been an annual sign of Christmas. This is our favorite of the batch, mainly because it features dancing penguins as well.
  3. Hershey Kisses Bells
Sometimes the simplest commercials are the best. We love this classic Hershey’s Kiss commercial in which the candies perform as hand bells to the tune of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” According to the Hershey Archives, the commercial has aired each holiday season since 1989, making it the longest running Hershey commercial ever.
  4. Campbell’s Soup Snowman
Another long-running commercial, this Campbell’s soup ad brings back memories of the fun of snow days and the comfort of a warm meal after hours of playing in the snow. Forget the NFL mothers, the image of the snowman thawing into a cute little boy is our favorite soup commercial.
