My 2017 New Year's Resolutions

  1. Stop talking shit about people.
    It's easy for me to join in when the people around me are laughing and making fun of someone, but I need to remove myself from that negativity.
  2. Write more.
    Whether it's working on my novel or writing in my journal, I just need to get back into writing.
  3. Go out more.
    I have friends who like to stay in and keep to themselves. I challenge myself to go to more events and meet more people and be open to experiences.
  4. Take a break from social media.
    No more sitting in silence with friends while we're all on our phones. Time to start listening.
  5. Make my bed in the mornings.
    Mum'll be impressed.
  6. Floss daily.
    2017 will be the year my dental hygienist stops going on about how sensitive my gums are.
  7. Hit snooze once maximum.
    No more setting my alarm half an hour early so I can keep hitting snooze. Time to wake up when I'm supposed to wake up.
  8. Drink more water.
    My goal is to drink one water bottle a day and work my way up.
  9. Take care of my skin.
    @myface I'm sorry I don't moisturize you enough, I'm gonna work on that.
  10. Stick with knitting.
    My aunt taught me over the holidays and I really like it because I'm usually pretty fidgety. Thus, I'll keep with it.
