  1. You've Got Mail
Joe Fox is one the best romantic characters ever. Best lines include: "at least it wasn't the fish" "the only thing lovely about her was the way her hair fell across her face" "have you ever tried a caviar garnish?" Also, he & Meg are the best together. Also, Dave Chapelle is in this movie and I love him.
  2. Joe versus the Volcano
Another one of my favorite movies of all time. This movie shouldn't work and probably doesn't for most people, but the cinematography is gorgeous, Meg Ryan plays several characters and the point of the movie is take a chance at being happy because you'll probably die soon and don't trust everyone.
  3. Sleepless in Seattle
Ok, by now it's obvious I love the Hanks-Ryan movie vehicle. Don't judge me. Or do, I get it. But as someone who loves (Loves old movies especially An Affair to Remember (Cary Grant is an absolute hunk. Would date 10/10) ), this movie is an ode to what we imagine love is and how far we are willing to look for it. Also, there is tons of kid sass in it and I am here for 90's kid sass.
