1. Standing Room Only (SRO)
Ask the bartender for a vague, bizarre sort of drink, e.g. "I want something slightly sweet that's a mix of Bali and adventure." He'll awe you with the results. Really small space, so it's ideal for just two people who want magical drinks in an intimate, dark setting.
  2. Twenty Five Lusk
Upscale lounge-style bar downstairs. Fairly quiet.
  3. Local Edition
Centrally located on Market St. Popular post-work hangout bar for the tech crowd. Good for larger groups of people.
  4. El Techo de Lolinda
Super sweet rooftop bar. They also serve tapas! Be sure to get there early on a nice day or weekend or you may not get in (thanks @charlie for pointing that out).
  5. The Monk's Kettle
A warm, homey space with an overwhelmingly extensive menu of beers and wine. It's wonderful.
  6. 20 Spot
Lovely little wine bar. Quiet and romantic.
  7. Mosto
Quite hip. Often crowded and loud. Good bartenders and wide selection of tequila-based drinks.
  8. Lone Palm
    Solid neighborhood dive bar.
  9. Trick Dog is so fun, and the cocktails are brilliant.
