WAYS I KNOW MY DEPRESSION IS ABATING
- 1.I get out of bed.Every day, even.
- 2.I answer the phone when it rings.Occasionally. I may be feeling better but I still effing hate the phone.
- 3.I cancel 75% fewer commitments.Progress, people. For someone whose default setting is "I don't want to go," this feels substantial.
- 4.I haven't watched reality TV in three weeks.This is probably the best gauge of my progress.
