An ode to all the times I've felt left out in a conversation
  1. Kanye West
He's an "inspired genius" artist and says egotistical things? Tbf a couple of his songs are 🔥 and he's hella entertaining but I just don't care enough to give any more of my time
  2. Game of Thrones
Tried reading the books and the writing bored me to death. I stuck with the series till season 4 until it got gloomy and everyone died and there was far too little Natalie Dormer and I JUST DON'T CARE. I don't particularly like any of the characters except Sansa and they don't seem to be doing anything with her so idfc anymore. 😊😊😊
  3. Amy Schumer
I am genuinely baffled as to why everyone thinks she's such a comedy goddess. I've watched Trainwreck and a couple episodes of Inside Amy Schumer and I mean, she's kinda funny but I didn't really find anything groundbreaking about her humour. Also Trainwreck was massively overhyped and not nearly as good
  4. Percy Jackson/Hunger Games/Divergent
For some reason, everyone recommended these to me as "the new Harry Potter" and at that time the wound was still fresh, so I refused to read these out of principle and then just never got around to it
  5. Star Wars
YES I WENT THERE. I tried watching the first movie multiple times and have always gotten bored. Idk is it a generation thing? I'm sorry pls forgive me. I do adore Star Trek though
