15 Things I Am Good At

  1. 1.
Reading very quickly; reading comprehension πŸ“š
    Once I start a book/series, I can't stop til I'm completely done.
  2. 2.
Saying I'm not tired, and then falling asleep within 10 minutes 😴
  3. 3.
Making the bed every morning πŸ›
  4. 4.
Being a good shoulder to lean on πŸ€—
People like to confide in me, and I like to listen and give advice when I can.
  5. 5.
Binge watching TV shows in an absurdly short period of time πŸ“Ί
  6. 6.
Getting better at balancing seriousness and goofiness πŸŽ‰
A work in progress. As a kid I was full on goof, then I became way too serious. Now I'm working on finding the balance.
  7. 7.
Loving my family and friends 😍
I'd do anything for them, and I LOVE buying little things that remind me of them, or sending flowers or texts when I think they need/deserve it, or to celebrate something.
  8. 8.
Losing control of my facial expressions when something insane is happening around me πŸ€”πŸ˜‘πŸ˜±πŸ’€πŸ™„πŸ˜ΆπŸ˜«πŸ€πŸ™ƒ
Mostly with my family or at work. I'm working on my poker face.
  9. 9.
    Baking πŸͺπŸŽ‚πŸ°
Working on cooking, but I LOVE baking, and while baking dairy-free can be tricky, I think I do a pretty good job.
  10. 10.
    Staying hydrated πŸ’§
Ever since my kidney stone (which I will li.st about sometime soon) I make sure to drink a lot of water.
  11. 11.
    Keeping the weight off πŸ“πŸŽπŸ…πŸ
In the past few months I've lost almost 30 pounds just from eating better, and I've managed to keep it all off, just from a lifestyle change. Proud of myself, I didn't think I could do it.
  12. 12.
Being tougher than I used to πŸ’ͺ
I used to be very passive, and just let things happen to me, even if I didn't like it. Now I stand up for myself, I say "no" when I want/need to, I put up with less BS in life and at work; I think that just comes with growing up and seeing the world in a more mature way. I deserve more from myself and from life.
  13. 13.
    Appreciating my husband πŸ‘«
Sometimes in the past I took him for granted (as we all do as life goes on), but losing a friend and a family member in past few years has made us realize how precious life is, and I have learned to appreciate every minute I have with him. I see him in a new way, and thank him every day for the life we have together.
  14. 14.
Crying at sad or inspirational puppy videos online πŸ•πŸΆ
I like dogs more than I like some people.
  15. 15.
    Being myself πŸ‘ΈπŸ»
Not afraid to laugh too loud, be ridiculous with my cousins/bffs, drink one glass of wine too many with my sisters in law, bug my sister, snuggle my husband, call my parents for advice, curse too much, take care of myself in terms of my anxiety and read for 10 hours a day.
