1. The 100 Bullets graphic novel series. I collected 13 books made up of 100 issues of comics. Probably read the whole thing 7 times.
  2. American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. I've gone through 3 paperback copies of this book since high school. A dog eared ragged copy once scared off a first date.
  3. Traditional Folktales of China- my grandmother brought me this after a trip abroad. It had tiny illustrations at the bottoms of the pages that I tried to copy for years.
  4. American Tabloid - James Ellroy. Historical fiction noir perfection. Complex, engrossing, hypnotic, challenging. Totally turned me on to Ellroy and noir.
