The Red Room @ Cafe 939 is a tiny Berklee venue, I went for the first time this week to see Lianne La Havas and was blown away. I mean literally brought to tears by her performance.
  1. It's intimate
It's a 200-capacity club with superb engineering and some really great lighting.
  2. The crowd participation is on point
This is a Berklee venue - the harmonies are in tune and the snaps and claps timed just right.
  3. It's dry
You may be wondering... "wait, dry as in no drinks?" That's right. Usually I love a good beer at a show, but something about this really makes you focus on the music. Imagine no one pushing through the crowd to get to the bar, or bathroom. It's just you and the music and in my opinion, that's the way it should be. (There are plenty of bars near by.)
  4. They always bring in great talent
