WAYS TO STOP POLARIZING YOUR THOUGHT PROCESS

(In no particular order and all at your own risk)
  1. Listen to Nick Drake
  2. Read some James Joyce - preferably "Finnegans Wake" but "Ulysses" is OK in a pinch.
  3. Experiment with Serato Scratch Live
  4. Experiment with LSD
  5. Stare at Greenland on Google Earth for awhile. Zoom in; zoom out; look up some features that strike you as salient in the encyclopedic volume of your choosing, and then feel the highly-particular "awareness-burn" that this exercise was both deeply fascinating and a total waste of your time.
  6. Start operating on a "check / check+ / check-" system. It's still linear, but really takes the "0s" and "1s" factor out of the equation.
