Every place has at least one, what are your favorites???
  1. The Music Box Theatre, Chicago
This place is so special. An old theater where they play organ music. They show 45mm films and have amazing Q&As, I've seen Wes Anderson, Jason Schwartzman, and Nick Kroll here. It's one of my favorite places in the city.
  2. The Manor Theatre, Pittsburgh
Another magical place that shows the best movies and has delicious meatballs, also one of my favorite places in this city.
  3. Kendall Square Cinema, Boston
Charming and cool, I love this area and this theatre. And it always shows great indies!
  4. Loring Hall, Hingham
I feel #blessed to have such a cool movie theater in my tiny hometown. It's a one screen antique building that brings whatever movie Judi Dench is in to the little old ladies of Hingham. I love it so.
  5. Electric Cinema, London
I didn't get to go here in London which is a regret bc it has BEDS in the theater!!! Looks like it's my jam x100
  6. Brooklyn Heights Cinemas, New York City
This theater is small and strange and utterly charming amongst the huge multiplexes in NY
  7. Cape Cinema in Dennis, MA
Cute amazing theater that mostly plays indie films. It's also great because I used to work there!

  12. Phoenix had the beautiful historic Cine Capri until they tore it down to build ugly office building.
What a travesty. I only got to go twice. It has a hilariously effusive Wikipedia page:

  16. The Stanford Theatre in Palo Alto has old style everything, a dope organ grinder that rises up and down like in Radio City Music Hall, and amazing runs of movies like Rodgers and Hammerstein months or Hitchcock months. 100% recommend for an early-in-relationship date.
