Saw the Adam McKay film tonight, based on the book by Michael Lewis. Here are some thoughts...
  1. Ryan Gosling can do no wrong.
  2. Steve Carell's character reminded me just a little of his character in FOXCATCHER. But he was more likable here thank goodness.
  3. Hamish Linklater makes me smile.
  4. I wish there had been more women in the film. I get it's based on true stuff but still...I wish...
  5. It was REALLY funny. Like I laughed out loud a lot.
  6. That alligator scared the shit out of me.
  7. The film could have been really sad. I'm glad it wasn't.
  8. I want to read the book now but after reading MONEYBALL, I'm not sure I'm up for it.
  9. I wish I knew how to be a stockbroker.
  10. Why did no one tell me a liberal arts degree was shit?
  11. I can't believe they're at it again...
