1. 1.
Hiking on Él Perito Moreno Glacier is perhaps my favorite moment in life, thus far. Surreal setting, blue and pure glacial water, ice crunching beneath your feet, mountains in the distance... sigh
  2. 2.
    South Africa
Cape Town and the wine region. Stellenbosch during fall is magnificent.
  3. 3.
Grand Teton National Park - Wyoming
Surreal. Breathtaking. Endless beautiful hikes. Float in String Lake. Jackson is only 4 miles away!
  4. 4.
    Glacier National Park - Montana
The park is so expansive, the helicopter tour was crucial in understanding the scope of the park. Iceberg Lake hike is a must!!! (View of Iceberg Lake from the copter)
  5. 5.
    Lake District - Chile/Argentina
Bariloche in particular. Fully satisfied my need for activities (in a most beautiful setting). Hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, snowboarding, etc. and its proximity to Mendoza is an added bonus.
  6. 6.
    Charleston, South Carolina
Calling all foodies and history buffs. However, I am neither of these yet still Charleston ranks very high. I spent 7 years here and intend to spend more.
  7. 7.
    Okavango Delta - Botswana
Mokoro ride through the Delta to a remote campsite. Walking safari tour - a much more intimate way to encounter all the wildlife. Natives singing by the campfire. ✨magical✨
  8. 8.
    The Southwest - USA
Taos, Santa Fe, Zion National Park. Unbelievable beauty.
  9. 9.
In its entirety. Vast and varied. It has 30 of the 32 world climates! And of course Machu Picchu - photos do not do it justice, it's a spiritual experience (you must hike there. Not necessarily Inca Trail, I did the less populated Salkantay trek).
  10. 10.
    Granada, Spain
I can't determine if this is a true favorite or sentimentally so. I studied abroad here. Often compared to Sevilla, but I describe it as a small hippy mountain city. Bring some sangria up to the mirador and watch the sun set over the city and The Alhambra.

    New York City
Last. But certainly not least. Home.
