HOW I WOULD SURVIVE ON AN ISLAND WITH @ROCHE

In the spirit of fanfiction, I wrote a little Valentine's Day story! ❤️🐙☺️
  1. @roche and I find ourselves on an airplane together flying over the Atlantic.
  2. The belly of the plane starts to rumble. The flight attendants and pilot assure everyone that everything is okay. Before they can finish, one of the engines ignites. We start going down.
  3. I get knocked out by a rouge iPad and miss the dramatics of the entire crash.
  4. I wake up and start inspecting all the damage. It was overwhelming. I make it out of the aircraft and find another person alive! @roche!!
  5. I found him with his head in his hands. I grabbed his shoulders. He looked up in gratefulness that there was someone else alive.
  6. At first it was awkward making small talk and getting to know one another after such a tragedy but we shortly discovered that we both had a love for Minnesota (I went to school in Mankato.) and The List App. After that it began feeling like we were old friends.
  7. We decide if we wanted to survive we would have to stick together.
  8. @roche and I are killing it as real life survivors.
  9. From his love of horror movies and my background of living on a lake, we are able to make a killer (ha!) fishing team! Thank goodness he's seen so many horror films because he's unfazed when it comes to cleaning fish.
  10. We are able to pass the time talking about movies and our admiration for women with short haircuts. It helps keep each other sane.
  11. @roche has unparalleled bravery. Not only is he able to open up and is very kind but the gentleman is able to try to swim to get radio to contact the other humans again!
  12. He is able to reach the radio after battling octopus after octopus. I help him bring it ashore and decide to let it dry out.
  13. After a few days of drying, we finally reach someone and to our shock. We're actually in a better position than most of the rest of the world. A zombie apocalypse has erupted.
  14. We decide that we should maybe wait it out on a secluded island for awhile. Better than taking a risk fighting zombies.
  15. @roche sorry I am almost late!!!!
  16. I really, really enjoyed stalking you. Your lists are clever, insightful, witty and brave. They made me feel, laugh and smile. I am excited to read future lists. It was truly a fun read!! 🍩☺️🤗
  17. Thank you @ChrisK for this fun exercise. Once again, you're bringing us all together!! 🙌🏻
