Things to Do in the Fall

It's the best season of the year and number one on my fall to do list is visit Manhattan. Until then here are 25 of my favorite things to do in autumn.
  1. Carve a pumpkin.
  2. Go apple picking and if you're too lazy to pick your own at least buy honey crisp apples, they're delicious.
  3. Host a horror movie marathon.
  4. Jump in a pile of leaves.
  5. Buy a notebook and a new pack of pencils, crayons and markers, even if you're not in school.
  6. Check a book out from the library.
  7. Make a wreath.
  8. Eat a caramel covered apple.
  9. Celebrate Oktoberfest with beer/sausage.
  10. Dig out your sweaters and boots from the back of the closest.
  11. Collect pine cones and display them in a glass bowl.
  12. Breathe in the cool, crisp air.
  13. Make a pumpkin pie.
  14. Spend a day antiquing.
  15. Build a bonfire and roast marshmallows.
  16. Check out the local fall festival.
  17. Wear your favorite jeans.
  18. Start Christmas shopping.
  19. Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
  20. Hot caramel apple cider is a must.
  21. Take a drive in the country, roll down the windows and play a nostalgic playlist on high.
  22. Go leaf peeping.
  23. Host Sunday football brunch.
  24. Read scary stories, every year I read a short story by Edgar Allen Poe.
  25. Remember what you're thankful for...
