    Millennium 5K - New Year's Eve
35:46; Killen, Ala. Started in 2015, ended in 2016. My mom ended up surprising me and she stood out in the cold to watch me struggle.

Race for Preservation 5K - February
32:32; Savannah, Ga. First race to run the entire route without stopping.

    Finish on the 50 10K - March
1:03:44; Auburn, Ala. First 10K to run the entire route. Still not over that massive hill on mile six.

Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K - April
32:56; Atlanta, Ga. First race post-training. Ran the entire route and got to experience ATL with great friends.

Color Run 5K Fun Run - May
Untimed; Birmingham, Ala. This run was great, because I got to do it with one of my closest friends and we walked most of it. Plus, I didn't get injured this time. πŸ’›

    Peach Run 5K - June
35:30; Clanton, Ala. It is definitely summertime. I haven't been training like I should, so this was a stop and go run. I finished drenched in sweat, but I did it and I got a cool T-shirt to show for it.

5K Run for St. Jude - July
39:00; Florence, Ala. Did I die during this race and come back as a ghost? Yeah, probably. I had a really rough morning at work, then I drove 4.5 hours to make this race. My MapMyRun said it was 3.5 miles and other runners said 3.3. I'm not sure how long it was, I just know it was really hot and humid, and I'm glad I survived. πŸ‘»

    Neon Vibe 5K - August
Untimed: Auburn, Ala. MapMyRun recorded this as a 3.5-mile run, but I'm not sure about that given my time. A friend joined me for this race (her first) and it was a lot of fun! I made the poor decision to wear a cotton shirt, so when I was about 2.5 miles in I took it off and actually felt fairly confident to just be in a sports bra. Granted it was night time and I had a fanny pack on, but still. This is my first race during my half-marathon training.

    Craft Classic 5K - September
38:22; Atlanta, Ga. Overall, this course was pretty hilly, with the last quarter of a mile or so straight up hill. It was a decent race, and I only stopped twice. The best part was being able to spend time with my friend who I haven't seen in several months. Also, first race with my new running shoes ✌🏼

    UCP Half Marathon - October
2:58:00; Florence, Ala. If you asked me at the beginning of the year if I would run a half marathon 10 months later, I would've laughed and stared at you. It was a lot of stop and go, but I feel like a champion for getting out there and doing it. Now I want to do more halfs and continue to better myself mentally and physically.

    Trinity 5K- November
34:48; Opelika, Ala. Perfect weather and the best I've felt running in a while. ☺️

Toys for Tots 10K - December
1:17:00; Auburn, Ala. I don't know the exact time I finished (they haven't had time to post the results), but that's a fair estimate. I didn't train for this one like I should've, but I did it! Plus, I got to bring a toy to help a local child in need. 🎁

And that, ladies and gentlemen, concludes my goal for 2016.
