1. Talking as Fast as I Can — Lauren Graham
I LOVE Lauren. I couldn't help but read it at a Lorelei pace, but this book was wonderful. It was encouraging, funny, smart, and personal. If you enjoy Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, or women killing it at life, read this now
  2. Adulting: How to become a grownup in 468 easy(ish) steps — Kelly Williams Brown
This book made me deep clean my apartment and got me back into writing. This advice/self-help book was funny and honest, while making me want to be a better version of myself.
  3. The Sun is Also a Star — Nicola Yoon
This was my first (good) fictional book in a while. I love when an author transitions character perspectives throughout the book, provided a well-rounded view of events. This story takes place in one day and shows how fate can lead two people together to change life's plans. Also, I love thinking about alternate universes (like on the ep of Community)
