I'm not an economist but
Here's an opinion I have. While I feel I have some knowledge, I will fully admit that I am probably under-qualified to be making bold statements on economics as I know very little about it. If anyone has a counter opinion or any resources that would further my understanding please share as I am always open to discussion and learning!
- •Its unbelievable to me that we are having debates and discussions over minimum wage.
- •A person working full time (40hrs/week) should not be falling short of a "living wage."
- •One of the arguments against raising the minimum wage is that it would cause a backlash in that companies would in turn raise their prices to keep their profits the same.aka spiral inflation
- •If you need to pay your employees less than what is deemed "livable" in order to make a profit, you are exploiting your workers.
