Here's an opinion I have. While I feel I have some knowledge, I will fully admit that I am probably under-qualified to be making bold statements on economics as I know very little about it. If anyone has a counter opinion or any resources that would further my understanding please share as I am always open to discussion and learning!
  1. Its unbelievable to me that we are having debates and discussions over minimum wage.
  2. A person working full time (40hrs/week) should not be falling short of a "living wage."
  3. One of the arguments against raising the minimum wage is that it would cause a backlash in that companies would in turn raise their prices to keep their profits the same.
    aka spiral inflation
  4. If you need to pay your employees less than what is deemed "livable" in order to make a profit, you are exploiting your workers.
