A Few Things I Disliked About the Imitation Game (in No Particular Order)

  1. keira knightley's char being introduced as some kind of amazingly smart lady who subsequently is shown to contribute almost nothing to the actual mission
  2. choppy back-and-forths, almost laughable - almost like someone says something and bcumberbatch stares into the distance and the screen ripples and we are shown a flashback to explain, lmao
  3. kinda confused! are u focusing on the war, on turing's motivation, on his homosexuality, on his past? feels like it has way too much on its plate; almost like it's approaching its subject matter from too many angles
  4. that line about the people nobody expects anything of etc etc was like twenty people's whatsapp statuses at one point so this is a purely a personal issue but every time i hear that line i wanna punch something
  5. too little matthew goode (matthew excellent)
