These are the podcasts that I return to often. While driving, dressing, flying.
  1. Don Carlin's Hardcore History terrific, well-researched series of in-depth analysis of historical events. Published rarely.
  2. 99% Invisible nice show about the world around us that passes unnoticed.
  3. Don Carlin's Common Sense. you will not agree with everything he says, but his thoughtful, unusual stances are intellectually invigorating.
  4. A16z interesting design and technology show
  5. Freakonomics Radio not every show is great, but when they are they are terrific. A recent one on the making of the common pencil was fascinating.
  6. The Many Moods of Ben Vaughn. Terrific eclectic show featuring rock tracks you haven't heard for decades, obscure pop tunes, unusual finds. Always entertaining.
