Albums that have defined different points in my life
  1. Fleetwood Mac by Fleetwood Mac
This is one of the earliest memories I have of music. I remember my mom playing around the house while dancing with me. LISTEN TO: Landslide
  2. America by America
This is another one of the albums I heard as a child that had an impact on me. When we moved to California from Texas, I remember my dad driving my family around with this album playing as we visited the beach and other little places around where we live. LISTEN TO: A Horse With no Name
  3. Perhaps Vampires is a Bit Strong But... by Arctic Monkeys
When my older brother showed me this album one day when we were driving somewhere in his truck, it was the start of my obsession with indie/rock music. LISTEN TO: Perhaps Vampires is a Bit Strong But..., and I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, or pretty much any of the songs on this album
  4. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance (or any of their albums who am I kidding?)
Okay even just looking at this gif makes me emotional which yeah I know is really emo. But these guys were such a huge part of my life. I was going through a pretty rough time when they turned up, and I'm so thankful for everything I got from their music. This was probably right before middle school and all throughout it that I fell in love with this band. They introduced me to pretty much every band that comes after this. LISTEN TO: Thank You for the Venom
  5. Folie à Deux by Fall Out Boy
When I saw Fall Out Boy live, my little emo heart sung. This era of Patrick Stump I could really relate to and I kind of fell in love with him, as well as the rest of the band. LISTEN TO: W.A.M.S & 20 Dollar Nose Bleed
  6. ...Is a Real Boy by Say Anything
Okay not many people really know about this band where I'm from, but the angst continues. This album is still one of my absolute favorite albums. This band made such an impact in my life, and I'm endlessly thankful for that. LISTEN TO: Alive with the Glory of Love
  7. Neighborhoods by Blink 182
Whenever I hear this album I hear the end of 8th grade, getting out of a pretty rough relationship this was my solace. LISTEN TO: Wishing Well and Snake Charmer
  8. Electraheart by Marina and the Diamonds
After the previously mentioned breakup, I went through a pretty heavy period of girl power and self love. LISTEN TO: Radioactive and Teen Idle
  9. Plans by Death Cab for Cutie
This album, along with some of their others, got me though almost all of the dark moments in my life. Any time I've ever felt sad or hurt or broken, I could always turn to death cab to make me feel better. LISTEN TO: What Sarah Said & Summer Skin & Crooked Teeth
  10. Sound Soldier by Skye Sweetnam
This album oh my god how could I forget it. This album was my LIFE when I was growing up. I've never met anyone who knows who this artist is, so if u have, please tell me. Did you ever watch that cartoon Buzz on Maggie? She sang the theme song for it. YOU CANT EVEN GET THIS ALBUM ON ITUNES AGH. LISTEN TO: Boyhunter or Let's get Movin' or Human or Music is my Boyfriend or any of the songs she wrote tbh
