  1. Multigrain sub roll, fully sliced

With some chew and some crunch
  2. 1.5 T mayo, spread on the top half of the bun
    17f5bfce 98b9 4a99 afdf 8a0faa980e74
  3. 1 t yellow mustard, spread on top of the mayo
    Ca2124f7 1181 440e 8930 282374712675
Never brown mustard, which can suck it
  4. 2 T quality cranberry sauce, spread on top of the mustard and mayo

  5. 1 slice emental, cut into Subway-style triangles, placed on the bottom half of the bun
    4caffbd4 d307 4704 b81a dc4df170f294
  6. 1/2 avocado, cut into very thin slices, layered on top of the cheese
    5435f8b6 2ab3 4541 8f47 72a32dba5a55
  7. 1/2 pound of freshly roasted turkey breast, sliced thin as hell, piled (not stacked) on top of the cheese, built evenly all the way to the edges
    6fe82e44 7db5 43f4 be77 01ba5d03c45a
There's a whole separate recipe if you are making the meat yourself (do!), but the main thing is it should be juicy and sliced as thin as they can get it.
  8. Freshly cracked black pepper on top of the turkey, to taste

Also salt if that's your thing. It's not mine. I'd rather have chips and a pickle on the side.
  9. Combine, stack, halve (preferably on a slight diagonal) and serve.
