THE BEST BRITISH DESSERTS

We call em puddings (American pudding = cold custard in the UK)
  1. BANOFFEE PIE:
You want dessert but have literally no culinary skills? Banoffee pie is ur answer. Buy digestive biscuits (NB graham crackers ARENT THE SAME!!!!), crush them and mix with melted butter. That's the base. Fill the pie with a can of dulce de leche from the supermarket. Top with sliced bananas & and whipped cream. Add grated chocolate if you're REALLY fancy.
  2. BAKEWELL TART:
It's not a tart to assess your skills at baking things, it's just the name of a place :/ Shortcrust pastry, raspberry jam on the bottom and a layer of almond frangipane.
  3. ETON MESS:
Pronounced as 'eaten' (put on your best British accent when you say it for authenticity). Take meringues (bcuz ofc you have them lying around), strawberries and raspberries (preferably the leftovers after watching the tennis at Wimbledon) and a bowl of sweetened, whipped cream. Mix it. Last of all, be like 'IM ETON ALL OF THIS HAHAHA'
