How To: Be a Good Host

  1. Let them help, if they offer
I'm not suggesting you make your guests do manual labor, but allowing them to pitch in will make them feel useful, less of a burden, and more at home.
  2. Relax
Don't stress yourself out trying to make the house look perfect and producing Instagram worthy meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; they came to see you and to enjoy your company, so focus on making good memories.
  3. Keep a plunger in your guest bathroom
I am dead serious about this one. Don't make someone go through the humiliation of asking where your plunger is.
