  1. In An Aeroplane Over The Sea (Neutral Milk Hotel). This album is just sensational. The waxing and waning of Jeff Mangum's voice, the use of instruments like literal saws and the vivid imagery the lyrics paint make this one of the greatest albums of all time in my humble opinion.
  2. The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me (Brand New). Because in addition to Jesse Lacy being an awesome lyricist I will forever be an angsty teenager
  3. We Have The Facts and We're Voting Yes (Death Cab For Cutie). Sensing a theme regarding lyrics.
  4. Oh, Inverted World (The Shin). This is the album that got me into music. Obviously it has to come to the hypothetical desert island.
  5. Hail To The Thief (Radiohead). Mainly because it's the longest Radiohead album
