MOVIES TO WATCH WHEN YOU'RE FEELING SAD

  1. The top five (in no particular order)
  2. Clueless
I love this movie so much, basically everything about it. I used to find the Cher/Josh romance kind of creepy, but either I like it more that I'm older or I've just gotten used to it. A classic. Can you believe this is over 20 years old now?
  3. Elizabethtown
This makes me want to go to Kentucky, which is impressive. There's something so sweet about the two leads' story, of how they meet and support each other and fall in love. Plus I dig the whole close-knit family vibe.
  4. Life As We Know It
I like Katherine Heigl, I like Josh Duhamel, I like romantic comedies. So what's not to like? I just love watching these two fall in love with each other and the baby their friends appointed them guardians over.
  5. Never Been Kissed
I love this movie so much. I've gushed about the ending before, but it's so nice seeing a late bloomer like Josie, who never got her chance to shine in high school the first time, finally get to experience things from the other side, even if eventually she learns that's not the kind of person she wants to be.
  6. Pumpkin
My favorite movie. Love love love it.
  7. The others (in alphabetical order)
  8. Begin Again
  9. Bridesmaids
  10. Fanboys

  14. Juno
  15. Lars and the Real Girl
  16. The Perks of Being a Wallflower
  17. Pleasantville
  18. The Skeleton Twins
A note about this one: this is for when you want to cry first, then feel better.
  19. They Came Together
