BOOKS I READ: APRIL 2016

Inspired by @jessicasuewho
  1. Spider-Gwen Vol. 0: Most Wanted?
Gwen is Spider-man! Loved it. Featuring evil hot Matt Murdoch
  2. Iron Man Vol. 1: Believe
This was fine? Tony Stark's commitment issues are only interesting to me for so long
  3. The Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee
AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Opera singer with mysterious past.
  4. All the Single Ladies by Rebecca Traister
Really good! Nonfiction book about rise of single women in America.
  5. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Fine? Not as cliche as I thought it would be? Like it was weirder than I thought it would be, which is good.
  6. The Kitchen by Olly Masters
Wives take over their husband's mob stuff when they go to jail, become mob bosses. It was amazing.
  7. Amazing Spider-man: Spider-verse
What a great event! All the Spider-man feels.
  8. Black Panther by Christopher Priest: The Complete Collection Vol. 1
Pretty great! Very 90s but not in a bad way.
  9. The Tsar of Love and Techno by Anthony Marra
Cried on the train reading this. It was lovely.
  10. White Is For Witching by Helen Oyeyemi
Didn't love this as much as I liked some of her other books (I particularly recommend Boy, Snow, Bird)
  11. Rat Queens, Vol. 1: Sass and Sorcery
Badass lady fighters drink and have sex and cause havoc. With magic!
  12. Tell My Three Things by @juliebux
This was such a sweet YA novel, it was lovely
  13. In progress: A Manual For Cleaning Woman by Lucia Berlin
It was due at the library before I finished it! Womp
