1. Created by Dan Goor and Mike Shur
Parks & Rec and The Office? There are similar traits like witty dialogue, well written characters, etc.
  2. Comedy involving police officers
"It’s a workplace comedy that happens to be set in a police precinct. That’s the simplest way to put it. And the idea is that they’re real cops, and the crimes they are investigating are real crimes. They’re real human beings, doing real things." - Mike Schur,
  3. Diverse cast
Just look at that cast! Not one, but TWO Latina actresses?! In fact, when Stephanie heard Melissa was casted, she thought that was it, "The network is not going to allow there to be two Latinas in one show." It's a shame this is on here but there's no denying there's a problem in today's shows and movies.
  4. Golden Globe winner
Awards are meaningless but still, it's always good to be nominated and win!
  5. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews) is a big teddy bear
"I love Scary Terry. He says what regular Terry's thinking."
  6. Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher) has one of the best deadpan faces ever
No, no! Not the puppies too?!
  7. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) is such a huge nerd and dork. She's pretty much us.
  8. But Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) is also us.
  9. Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) is who we should aspire to be.
She is the epitome of 💯
  10. And some days, we are Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio).
He runs a food blog but no one cares. Sorry Boyle. Also, never go full Boyle.
  11. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) is good detective whose boyish charms either help or hinder him.
    Nailed it, Jake!
  12. There are some great guest-stars.
  13. In all seriousness, B99 is a great comedy that everyone should give it a shot and watch it.
There are more reasons why this show is so great, but I didn't want to make the list too long cause it would mean taking time away from you when you could already be watching the show. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
