Here's What We Know So Far About This Morning's Attacks in Brussels:

  1. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
  2. They were apparently coordinated terrorist explosions occurred in the Brussels airport and at a metro station, including at least one suicide attack.
  3. The attacks occurred at around 8:00 a.m. Brussels time.
  4. So far, more than 31 people have died -- 20 from the metro station attack, 11 from the airport explosions.
  5. Brussels has been put on maximum terror alert and all of public transport throughout the city shut down.
