"Codeswitching" is changing the way you talk to mimic the other party, for the sake of putting them at ease. When I'm back in England all the old habits come back.
  1. Use of "lovely" instead of "great"
  2. Excessive apologizing
  3. Starting every thought with a long "errrrrm"
  4. Flattening my a's
  5. Exclusively use "thank you" over "thanks"
  6. An illogically cheerful yet fatalistic disposition.
